Christmas is here! Caring and sharing comes naturally, as we reach out to friends and family to give them little tokens of our love and appreciation - this is Sony’s Project BIG Switch!
Sony Philippines is askng for the help of its customers to support two groups that aim to uplift the education of the Filipino youth - the Knowledge Foundation and the Hands On Manila (HOM) Foundation.
On November 19-21, 2010. Sony is gathering its customers’ old but functional CRT TVs to be given to these partner organizations, by giving discounts on purchases of 32-inch BRAVIA LCD TVs and bundling these with free Sony DVD players. Customers are entitled to a trade-in value of P4,000 when swapping.
You can bring your 21 to 34-inch CRT TV to the LOOP, ABS-CBN Compound, GF ELJ Communications Center, Eugenio Lopez St., Quezon City to get it inspected and verified as working by a Sony Service Center technician. The CRT TVs you will trade-in will be given to the Knowledge Channel and HOM, who will then deliver them to struggling schools nationwide. Educational content and satellite dishes for schools off the grid will be bundled with the CRT TVs.
